How do I choose the correct Door Configuration?
Choosing your door configuration is the most important part of buying a Multi-Trim lock. The lock must be configured correctly to fit your door.
- Does your door have a Profile Cylinder or an American Cylinder?
- Is the cylinder above or below the handle?
- What is the Center-to-Center (CTC) measurement of your door?
- What is the location of your Center Mounting Hole?
- American Cylinder Above Handle--4-1/8" (105mm) center to center, 8-1/2" center to center mounting hole location. Compatible wiht Anderson Doors.
- American Cylinder Below Handle--3-5/8" (92mm) center to center, 8 3/8" center to center mounting hole location. Compatible with Pella® Doors.
What if my door is thicker than 1.75"?
Baldwin Multi-Point trims assume 1.75" door thickness. For thicker doors, please order a Thick Door Kit according to the chart below. Specify cylinder finish where noted. Available cylinder finishes include 264 (Satin Chrome) and 040 (Satin Brass)only.
